Momotaro and companions
Momotaro has companions. When Momotaro embarked on his adventure, he enlisted the help of the following three animal companions:
Dog (Inu): The first companion of Momotaro, he was a loyal friend who joined Momotaro in battle and helped defeat the evil oni (ogres).
Monkey (Saru): This monkey was also a companion of Momotaro and took part in his adventure. He was known for his cleverness and provided helpful ideas as needed.
Pheasant (Kiji or Kiji): The final companion was a pheasant, a type of bird. He too joined Momotaro as a companion in the battle, and his ability to fly was useful in their quest.
These companions supported Momotaro and worked together with him to defeat the evil oni, playing a crucial role in overcoming adversity. Their cooperation and friendship are essential elements of the Momotaro story.
